Mark Walsh, PT, DPT, MS, CHT

Dr. Mark Walsh has 40 years of experience in Upper Extremity Care. A graduate of the University of Iowa Physical Therapy program, Master’s Degree in Orthopedics Temple University, and Doctor of Physical Therapy, Drexel University. Held an appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor (Adjunct) at Drexel University (1997-2015). An accomplished author of over 20 journal and book chapters, presented over 230 invited lectures and original research on edema and extensor tendon management. A JHT Editorial Board for 20 years, Co-edited the special edition on Pain, and an item writer for the initial CHT exam. A charter active member of ASHT and 5-year board member. A Natalie Barr Lectureship recipient, Honored Senior Visiting Professor Rehabilitation of the Hand and Honored Professor Dorothy B. Kaufman Lectureship. He has been recognized by ASHT and HTCC for his contributions to hand therapy.
