Terri Skirven, OTR/L, CHT

Terri Skirven is an Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist with over 40 years of clinical experience. She is Director of the Hand Rehabilitation Foundation in Philadelphia and Director Emeritus of Therapy at the Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center, having served as Director for over 20 years. Terri is lead Chairman of the annual Philadelphia Surgery and Rehabilitation of the Hand Symposium, senior editor of the 6th edition and 7th edition (pending publication) of the text “Rehabilitation of the Hand and Upper Extremity”, and Co-Founder and Director of the Evelyn J. Mackin Fellowship in Hand Therapy. Terri serves on the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Hand Therapy and the Advisory board of the American Hand Therapy Foundation. At the 35th annual meeting of the American Society of Hand Therapists, Terri was awarded the Best Scientific paper award for her original research paper “Collagenase injection for severe Dupuytren’s contractures of the PIPJ: the role of therapy and orthotic intervention.”
