Carla Conte is an Occupational Therapist with her Certification in Hand Therapy. She works at Harborview Medical Center where she treats individuals with traumatic and repetitive stress injuries. Ms. Conte received her Certification in Hand Therapy in 2016, after specializing in hand therapy for seven years. Prior to working in hand therapy, Ms. Conte began her career as an Inpatient Therapist at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Arizona State University in 2000, and received her Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of Washington in 2005. Her clinical interests include treating people with complex wounds, traumatic upper extremity injuries, as well as a variety of diagnoses that result in stiffness and pain syndromes. Ms. Conte has presented at Overlake Hospital/Bellevue Bone and Joint Physician’s Symposium in 2016 and at the Washington Occupational Therapy Association’s annual conference in 2017. She enjoys collaborating with colleagues to help ensure the provision of therapy based on evidence based practice. In her spare time, Ms. Conte enjoys being outdoors, gardening, backpacking, Zumba, and spending time with her family.
